IMPORT AND LOGISTIC COORDINATOR

MISSIONS: 

• Handle all material logistic activities for your assigned vessels.
• Liaise with Purchasers, Suppliers and Sub-Contractors and coordinate and manage the local and international logistics activities, to and from our onshore warehouse or client’s supply base, and to and from our suppliers.
• Ensure good communication with Purchasers, Onshore- and Offshore Storekeepers, and other relevant stakeholders such as company`s partners for logistics and customs clearance.
• Liaise with Operations and Freight Forwarder to maximize opportunities for cost-effective logistic and consolidated shipments, ensure best method for custom clearance, that meet the need date for Operations.
• Coordinate local transportation of material to ensure timely delivery for scheduled Supply Vessels.
• Liaise with Custom broker to handle importation and custom clearance as required, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and client requirements.
• Follow up deliveries requiring custom clearance processes, in close cooperation with Purchasers and manage the interfaces between supplier, freight forwarder and customs agent.
• Ensure necessary documents are checked and approved before importation process starts to ensure an efficient customs clearance process, without delays.
• Keep accurate records of all documentation related to custom clearance processes.
• Specific follow-up on urgent deliveries and importation of material.
• Support Purchaser with expediting of urgent deliveries, as required and agreed with Purchaser.
• Review of supplier invoices related to logistics and custom clearance, handling of disputes

Profil recherché

CANDIDATES PROFIL:

·         Minimum 3 years relevant experience within material logistics, gained within the marine/offshore industry.

·         Good insight and knowledge in custom handling and logistic management.

·         Committed to the highest level of integrity.

·         Good communications skills, both written and verbally.

·         Relevant education or business qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

·         Advanced English language.

·         Due to local requirements Ivorians will be prioritized
